Man charged with sexual abuse in Plattsburgh

PLATTSBURGH, NY — New York State Police charged Keith M. Fournier, 40, of Plattsburgh, with Sexual Abuse in the First Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child on Jan. 4, 2026.

The charges stem from incidents reported on Jan. 3, 2026, involving a 16-year-old victim at a residence in the Town of Plattsburgh, Clinton County.

Following an investigation, Fournier was arrested and processed at State Police Plattsburgh.

He was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court and remanded to the Clinton County Jail.

Bail was set at $2,500 cash, $5,000 bond, or $10,000 partially secured bond.

New York State Police were assisted by the Clinton County District Attorney’s Office and Clinton County Child Protective Services.
