CAMDEN, NY — A Utica woman faces multiple charges following a domestic incident in the Town of Camden.
Deputies responded to a residence on Buell Road at about 10:35 p.m. Jan. 3, 2026, after the Oneida County 911 Center dispatched them to a report of a domestic incident, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol.
Dorothy Sherboneau, 38, of Utica, had engaged in a physical altercation with a male companion for whom there was an active order of protection in place, deputies found.
Patrol deputies took Sherboneau into custody and transported her to the Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Building.
She was charged with harassment in the second degree, a violation, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
The Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Unit also charged Sherboneau with criminal contempt in the first degree, a Class E felony.
Sherboneau was held at the Sheriff’s Correctional Facility to await CAP Court.
After arraignment, she was held on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
Sherboneau is scheduled to appear in Camden Town Court at a later date.
