PUTNEY, VT — A 24-year-old man was arrested on a domestic assault charge Sunday afternoon.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks were dispatched at approximately 12:10 p.m. to a report of a domestic assault.
An investigation revealed that Dakotah Kennett, 24, of Putney, had committed the offense of domestic assault.
Kennett was placed under arrest and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
He was then transported to Southern State Correctional Facility and held on a $500 cash surety bond.
Kennett was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division on Jan. 6 at 12:30 p.m.
