SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a 36-year-old man on New Year’s Eve after responding to reports of a domestic disturbance at a residence.
Jeremy J. Breton, of South Windsor, was taken into custody at 6:53 p.m. Wednesday following an investigation into an incident at a home in town.
Police responded after receiving reports that Breton was intoxicated and attempting to fight people at the residence.
During the investigation, officers determined Breton threw a dog and pushed a juvenile.
Breton also refused to obey officers’ commands when they arrived on scene.
He was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a child, cruelty to animals, interfering with an officer and disorderly conduct.
Breton was processed and held on a $10,000 surety bond.
He appeared in Manchester Superior Court on Friday at 9 a.m.
