POWNAL, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 20-year-old driver on suspicion of DUI following a one-vehicle rollover crash on Middle Pownal Road on Jan. 3.
Troopers responded to the crash near 78 Middle Pownal Road at approximately 8:25 p.m.
The operator was identified as Jesse Quinn of Pownal.
While speaking with Quinn, troopers observed multiple indicators of impairment, according to police.
Quinn was placed under arrest and transported to the Shaftsbury Barracks for processing.
Quinn was driving a 2010 Infiniti G37, which was totaled in the crash.
Quinn was wearing a seat belt and sustained minor injuries but was not transported to a hospital.
Quinn was later released to a sober party on a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on Jan. 26 at 8:30 a.m.
Pownal Fire Department and Pownal Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
Southern Vermont Auto removed the vehicle from the scene.
Weather was clear and road conditions were normal at the time of the crash.
