CAVENDISH, VT — Vermont State Police received a report of a domestic situation on Depot Street at approximately 4:57 a.m. on Jan. 3, 2026.
An investigation revealed Austin Masko, 29, of Cavendish, had caused pain to a significant other and restricted them, police said.
Masko was transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
He was cited on charges of domestic assault and unlawful restraint.
Masko was ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division on Jan. 5, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
