NAUGATUCK, CT — Two women were arrested following a prostitution investigation at a local spa business.
The Naugatuck Police Detective Bureau began investigating Cedar Health Therapy Spa at 25 Cedar Street in November after receiving several complaints regarding prostitution activity.
Surveillance conducted on the business confirmed the activity, police said.
On Dec. 31, Naugatuck detectives executed a search and seizure warrant on the business, which resulted in the seizure of cash and business records.
Jianglan Ji, 57, was charged with promoting prostitution, permitting prostitution and conspiracy to commit prostitution.
Lianhua Luo, 61, was charged with prostitution.
Both women were released on $10,000 bonds and are scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on Jan. 14, 2026.
The Connecticut Department of Public Health was notified of the investigation.
