Man arrested on DUI #2 charge in Rockingham

ROCKINGHAM, VT — A Chester man faces his second drunken driving charge following a traffic stop Thursday night.

Nicholas Lynch, 36, of Chester, was stopped at approximately 8:01 p.m. at the intersection of Town Farm Road and Rockingham Road.

Troopers from the Westminster State Police Barracks conducted the traffic stop.

Lynch showed signs of impairment while interacting with troopers, according to police.

He was arrested and taken to the Westminster Barracks for processing.

Lynch is charged with driving under the influence, second offense, and criminal driving with a suspended license.

He is scheduled to appear before the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on March 31 at 8:30 a.m.
