BERLIN, CT — Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on the morning of Dec. 31.
The Berlin Police Department received a report of a robbery at Webster Bank located at 40 Webster Square Road at 10:03 a.m.
A male suspect approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and 240 pounds entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money.
The suspect threatened the use of a firearm.
The suspect was seen leaving the area driving a 2020 gray Cadillac CT6 with Connecticut marker plate L01333L.
The Berlin Police Investigations Division is working with local, state and federal law enforcement partners to investigate the robbery.
Two search and seizure warrants have been executed on a residence in North Haven and the suspect vehicle in North Haven.
