WICKFORD, RI — A Coventry woman was arrested on a warrant at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Stephanie Hopkins, 40, of Coventry, was taken into custody at her residence by state troopers.
Hopkins was arrested on an affidavit and arrest warrant for unauthorized dissemination of indecent material, first offense.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation.
Hopkins was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, where she was processed.
She was arraigned by a justice of the peace as a probation violator.
Hopkins was later transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women’s Intake Center.
