PROVIDENCE, RI — A Cranston woman was arrested early Friday morning on two outstanding bench warrants following a traffic stop.
Stephanie Malek, 36, of Cranston, was taken into custody at 3:23 a.m. on Plainfield Street.
Malek was wanted on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a pretrial conference on an original charge of disorderly conduct from the Central Falls Police Department.
She also was wanted on a second Sixth Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a pretrial conference on an original charge of willful trespass from the Providence Police Department.
Malek was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women’s Intake Center.
