CRAWFORD, NY — A member of the Crawford Town board was arrested on a charge of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree on December 29.
Jason Muehr, who owns Smoke Wagon Firearms, is accused of violating a Family Court order of protection that was issued on October 29.
This marks Muehr’s second arrest on the same charge.
He was previously arrested for Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree on November 4, with that case still pending in court.
Muehr was arraigned on the latest charge at Middletown Court on December 29 and was released on his own recognizance.
He is scheduled to return to court on January 12, 2026.
