AUBURN, NY — Two people were arrested on outstanding warrants stemming from a September theft at a local pharmacy.
William R. Butler, 47, and Lindsey M. Bennett, 43, were taken into custody on Dec. 23 on charges related to an incident that occurred on Sept. 19 at Kinney Drugs, 62 Owasco St.
Police said Butler purchased approximately $110.45 worth of merchandise and Bennett purchased approximately $262.44 worth of merchandise.
Both suspects used a stolen credit card to purchase the items, according to police.
Butler and Bennett were each charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a class E felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.
Both were processed and transported to Cayuga County Jail for centralized arraignment.
