Propane tanks stolen in Norton

NORTON, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating the theft of two propane tanks from a residence on Vermont Route 114 South.

Chad Abbott, 48, of Brownington, reported the tanks were stolen from his property between Dec. 24 and Dec. 30.

Police were notified of the theft at approximately 12:06 p.m. on Dec. 30.

Each of the stolen propane tanks weighs 100 pounds and belongs to C. Bean Transport Home Fuel of Colebrook, New Hampshire.
