SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a 53-year-old man Thursday after he allegedly threatened his brother with a hammer and struck a vehicle.
Thomas J. Adams, of South Windsor, was taken into custody at 11 a.m. Thursday following an incident at a residence in town.
Officers responded to the home after receiving a report that Adams had threatened his brother with a hammer and used the hammer to strike a vehicle, according to police.
Following an on-scene investigation, Adams was charged with breach of peace in the second degree, a misdemeanor.
He was issued a summons and released on a promise to appear in court.
Adams appeared in Manchester Superior Court at 9 a.m. Friday.
