EXETER, RI — A Woonsocket man was arrested early Sunday morning on a drunken driving charge following a motor vehicle crash on Route 95 South.
Edgar Diaz-Hernandez, 32, of Woonsocket, was taken into custody at 3:43 a.m. Dec. 28, according to Rhode Island State Police.
He was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor with a blood alcohol content between .10 and .15, first offense.
Police said his blood alcohol content registered 0.112 in the first test and 0.114 in the second test.
Diaz-Hernandez was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
He was released with a notice to appear in Fourth Division District Court.
