SAINT JOHNSBURY, VT — A Coventry man was arrested on an extraditable warrant from Florida following a traffic stop on Dec. 26.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were on routine patrol when they observed several moving violations and conducted a motor vehicle stop at Memorial Drive and Hospital Drive at 11:30 p.m.
The operator was identified as Raymond Lucas, 55, of Coventry.
Investigation determined that Lucas had an active $100,000 extraditable warrant from the state of Florida.
The Florida charges include two counts of obscene communication use computer to seduce solicit lure child and two counts of public order crimes use two-way communication device to facilitate felony.
Lucas was transported to the Saint Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division and lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex.
