FALL RIVER, MA — A fugitive wanted in Rhode Island for allegedly using a molotov cocktail was arrested this morning after fleeing from police.
Members of the Patrol Bureau responded to the 200 block of Tecumseh Street in an attempt to locate the suspect.
Upon officers’ arrival, the suspect fled from the front door of the residence.
Officers immediately initiated a foot pursuit through neighboring yards.
The suspect was later located hiding inside a shed in the backyard of a residence in the 300 block of Snell Street.
The suspect was identified as Armando Gonzalez, 38, of Fall River.
Gonzalez was taken into custody without further incident.
He will face extradition back to Rhode Island and has also been charged in Massachusetts with fugitive from justice and resisting arrest.
