Man arrested on hit-and-run charge in Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — A 27-year-old Providence man was arrested on a hit-and-run charge Tuesday afternoon.

Jason Paglio, of Providence, was taken into custody at 4:39 p.m. on a charge of duty to stop resulting in damage to attended vehicle.

The arrest followed a hit-and-run investigation that led troopers to Paglio’s residence.

Paglio was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.

He was released with a future Third District Court arraignment date.
