MANLIUS, NY — A single-vehicle crash on Peck Road sent a driver to the hospital with serious injuries Tuesday afternoon.
The Town of Manlius Police Department responded to the 7800 block of Peck Road at approximately 2:49 p.m. for a motor vehicle collision.
A preliminary investigation revealed a 2007 Chevrolet Impala operated by Eugene J. Bouvia, 25, of Oneida, was traveling westbound on Peck Road when it went off the roadway and struck a tree.
Bouvia sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries and was transported to Upstate University Hospital for treatment, where he remains in stable condition.
He was issued uniform traffic tickets for failure to maintain lane and no seatbelt.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
