KILLINGTON, VT — A New York man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash on Dec. 19.
Killington Police and Killington Fire & Rescue responded to Killington Road just south of Snowshed lodge for the crash.
Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle on its side and heavily damaged.
The operator, Ameen Khan, 22, of Port Jefferson, New York, was out of the vehicle and had sustained minor injuries.
During the investigation, police detected signs of alcohol impairment.
Khan participated in field sobriety exercises and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
Khan was processed at Killington Police Department and refused to provide an evidentiary breath sample.
He was released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Rutland Criminal Division, on Jan. 5, 2026, at 10 a.m.
