BRADFORD, VT — A 39-year-old man was arrested on a charge of second-degree aggravated domestic assault following a family disturbance Saturday night.
Troopers from the Saint Johnsbury Barracks were notified of the disturbance at a residence in Bradford at 11:45 p.m. on Dec. 20.
Troopers responded to the scene and learned that the victim had been assaulted by Dexter Gallien, 39, of Bradford, causing pain and fear.
Gallien was taken into custody without incident and transported to the St. Johnsbury State Police Barracks for processing.
Gallien was issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Dec. 22 at 12:30 p.m.
He was held at the Northeastern Correctional Complex for lack of $2,500 bail.
