Driver airlifted after rollover crash in Berlin

BERLIN, MA — A driver was airlifted to a trauma center with serious injuries after a rollover crash on Linden Street late Thursday night.

A resident traveling home at approximately 11:35 p.m. discovered a vehicle that had left the roadway, rolled over a guardrail and come to rest approximately 20 feet down a ravine.

The driver had been ejected from the vehicle and was found face down near a stream, according to the Berlin Police Department.

Berlin Fire & EMS, Berlin Police Department and Bolton Fire-EMS Paramedics responded to the scene and requested UMass Memorial Life Flight.

The driver was extricated from the ravine and transported to a local trauma center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Clinton Fire Department, Clinton Police Department and Boylston Police Department assisted at the scene.

Nashoba Valley Regional Emergency Communications Center coordinated the multi-agency response.
