CHARLOTTE, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins and thefts that occurred early Friday morning.
Troopers with the Williston Barracks received several reports of individuals breaking into cars and stealing two vehicles between 2 and 5 a.m.
The incidents occurred at several residences off Greenbush Road.
Troopers recovered one of the stolen vehicles.
The suspects stole several belongings from the vehicles and were searching for valuable items while testing to see if cars were unlocked, according to police.
