RICHMOND, VT — A Waterbury man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after crashing his vehicle on Interstate 89 South.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Williston Barracks were notified of a disabled vehicle on I-89 South at mile marker 73.6 at approximately 10:35 p.m. Dec. 18.
Troopers responded and found that Adam D. Pfeifer, 44, of Waterbury, had crashed.
While speaking with Pfeifer, indicators of impairment were noted.
He was subsequently screened and arrested for suspicion of DUI.
Pfeifer is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court in Chittenden County, Criminal Division, at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 13, 2026.
