COOPERSTOWN, NY — A man faces multiple charges following a motor vehicle accident investigation Dec. 16.
Jason M. Roberts, 37, of Schenevus, was arrested by the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office after allegedly leaving the scene of a property damage accident in the village.
Deputies determined Roberts was operating the vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol.
Roberts was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18% or more, operating a motor vehicle with .08 of 1% or more alcohol in blood, backing unsafely, leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident and open container in vehicle.
He was processed and released with uniform traffic tickets and an appearance ticket.
Roberts is scheduled to appear in Town of Otsego Court at a later date.
