Man arrested on trespassing charge in Warwick

WARWICK, RI — State Police arrested a Johnston man on a willful trespass charge Tuesday afternoon at a local hotel.

Daniel Grabowski, 50, of Johnston, was taken into custody at 1:16 p.m. at the Fairfield Inn in Warwick.

Troopers responded to assist the Rhode Island Airport Corporation Police Department.

Grabowski was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and arraigned as a bail violator by a justice of the peace.

He was transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.

In a separate incident Tuesday at 11 p.m., troopers arrested Amy Lapointe, 35, of Cumberland, on a Third Division District Court bench warrant during a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 North in North Providence.

The warrant was issued for failure to appear for arraignment on an original charge of driving without application for license from the Lincoln Police Department.

Lapointe was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court arraignment date.

At 11:42 p.m. Tuesday, troopers arrested Ricardo Graham, 57, of Pawtucket, following a motor vehicle stop on Portland Street in Providence.

Graham was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, second offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.

He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment as a bail and probation violator at Sixth Division District Court.
