SALAMANCA, NY — A man was taken into custody following a pursuit that began in the city on Dec. 9, according to the Salamanca Police Department.
Paul Tyler, 39, of Olean, was issued numerous uniform traffic tickets stemming from the pursuit.
Tyler was taken into custody by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
After he was arraigned on numerous warrants and charges, he was remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail.
On Dec. 12, Frank Cirrito, 40, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following an incident in the city.
Cirrito was charged with harassment in the second degree and was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.
On Dec. 13, Gwen Bruno, 50, of Salamanca, was taken into custody on two arrest warrants issued out of Salamanca City Court.
Bruno was processed and released with an appearance ticket for a later court date.
Tyrell Warflag, 46, of Salamanca, was taken into custody on a bench warrant issued out of Salamanca City Court.
Warflag was processed and arraigned and was subsequently remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail.
Nathan Kent, 39, of Great Valley, was taken into custody following a domestic incident in the city.
Kent was charged with burglary in the second degree as well as criminal mischief.
Kent was processed and held for arraignment.
On Dec. 14, Charles Ogrodowski, 57, of Niagara Falls, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree following a traffic stop in the city.
Ogrodowski was additionally issued tickets for failure to keep right and no tail lights.
Ogrodowski was released roadside with his uniform traffic tickets for a later court date.
On Dec. 15, Jason Watson, 45, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following a complaint of loud shouting by a neighbor.
Patrol made contact with Watson and observed him to be in a residence with a person who has a full stay away order of protection against him.
He was charged with criminal contempt of a court order in the first degree as well as harassment in the second degree.
He was processed and arraigned and was subsequently remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail.
On Dec. 16, Kenneth Penhollow, 40, of Salamanca, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree following a traffic stop in the city.
Penhollow was additionally issued one uniform traffic ticket for speed in zone.
Penhollow was released with a later court date.
