BOSTON, MA — A Dorchester man wanted in connection with multiple vehicle break-ins in Roxbury was arrested Tuesday morning.
Earl Joseph, 51, of Dorchester, was taken into custody about 9:20 a.m. in the area of 435 Columbia Road by officers assigned to District C-11.
The arrest stems from an incident reported about 7:50 p.m. on Dec. 11, when officers assigned to District B-2 responded to the area of 135 George Street for a report of a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers observed three motor vehicles with all of their windows smashed.
Officers spoke with the victims and were advised that their vehicles had been ransacked.
The next morning, a fourth victim arrived at District B-2 to report a similar incident on George Street.
After further investigation, detectives were able to determine the identity of the suspect and obtained a warrant out of Roxbury District Court for his arrest.
Joseph was wanted on a warrant charging him with four counts of breaking and entering to a motor vehicle, nighttime for felony, and four counts of malicious destruction to a motor vehicle.
Joseph is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
