Police investigate threat at Berlin school

BERLIN, NH — Police are investigating a report of violence directed at Berlin Middle High School.

The Berlin Police Department and Berlin Public Schools launched an investigation immediately after being notified of the threat.

The main parties involved have all been contacted.

Police said they do not have any information indicating a credible imminent danger to students, staff or parents.

The department will maintain an increased police presence at the school.

The Berlin Police Department has a zero-tolerance policy for threats of school violence.

The situation will be fully investigated, and appropriate enforcement action will be taken.
