CORTLANDVILLE, NY — New York State Police arrested two people following a disturbance at a business on Dec. 12.
Troopers from the Homer barracks were dispatched to Squeaky Clean on State Route 222 just before 11 a.m. for a report of a disturbance.
Henry C. Monroe Jr., 38, of Miami, Florida, and Chloe N. Glen, 35, of Miami, Florida, were each charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a class C felony.
An investigation determined that Monroe Jr. and Glen were in a vehicle when they became involved in a verbal argument while parked at Squeaky Clean.
The investigation further determined that they were in possession of a handgun and a magazine with ammunition for the handgun.
Neither Monroe Jr. nor Glen possess a New York State pistol permit.
They were processed at state police barracks in Homer and turned over to the Cortland County Jail for centralized arraignment.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
