VIRGIL, NY — A driver lost control of their vehicle on a snow-covered road and crashed at the intersection of West River Road and Snyder Hill Road on Dec. 13.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at approximately 6:02 p.m.
Officers determined the driver was traveling on Snyder Hill Road when they lost control due to the snow-covered road.
The vehicle slid through the intersection of West River Road, where it overturned and struck a tree.
The occupants of the vehicle were medically evaluated at the scene.
The Virgil Fire Department, TLC Ambulance and CNY Towing assisted the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
