SHERBURNE, NY — A 19-year-old man was arrested on a criminal mischief charge following an investigation into vehicle damage.
Jonathan Morales-Escalante, of Sherburne, was arrested Dec. 3 by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies investigated a complaint filed by a victim and determined Morales-Escalante intentionally damaged the victim’s vehicle.
He was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.
Morales-Escalante was released on an appearance ticket to appear in Village of Sherburne Court at a later date.
