CATSKILL, NY — Three men were found dead from apparent gunshot wounds at a residence on Forest View Drive on Dec. 12.

State Police from the Catskill barracks responded to a report of a possible shooting at 67 Forest View Drive at approximately 12:18 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Connor Provo, 22, of Catskill, contacted Greene County 911 and reported that he had killed his friends.

Upon arrival at the property, State Police, assisted by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, entered a trailer located on the property and found Provo dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Troopers and deputies continued their search of the property and entered a double-wide building, where they located two adult male victims dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victims were later identified as Clifford Beauchard, 34, and Justin Acevedo, 19, both of Catskill.

State Police was assisted at the scene by the Town of Cairo Police Department and the New York State Forest Rangers.

The incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide, and it is believed that Provo shot the other two victims before taking his own life.
