RICHMOND, RI — A Providence woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop on Route 95.
Eimy Romero, 24, of Providence, was taken into custody at 10:30 a.m. on a Newport County Superior Court bench warrant.
The warrant was issued for failure to appear for review on an original charge of obtaining property under false pretenses.
The charge originated from the Rhode Island State Police Wickford Barracks.
Romero was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and turned over to Newport County Superior Court.
