PROVIDENCE, RI — Members of the Intelligence Unit, assisted by members of the HIDTA Task Force, arrested a man on drug charges on Dec. 11.
Carlos R. Rivera, 38, of Providence, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver 1 oz – 1 kilo (cocaine), possession with intent to deliver Schedule I/II (cocaine), possession with intent to deliver Schedule I/II (fentanyl), controlled substance conspiracy and vandalism.
Rivera was transported to headquarters, where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
He was later turned over to officials at the ACI Men’s Intake Center pending a morning arraignment.
