BERLIN, VT — A Brookfield woman was arrested on multiple charges following a single-vehicle crash on the Interstate 89 northbound Exit 6 off-ramp Thursday afternoon.
Mary Albertson, 63, of Brookfield, was identified as the operator of the vehicle by officers from the Berlin Police Department who responded to the scene at 4:09 p.m.
Albertson was found to be driving with a criminally suspended license and was placed under arrest.
She was transported to the Berlin State Police Barracks for processing.
A continued investigation revealed that Albertson was displaying signs of impairment.
Albertson was charged with driving under the influence, criminal refusal, criminal driving with a suspended license and negligent operation.
She was released with a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on January 8, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
