COLONIE, NY — A woman was arrested on a drunken driving charge after her vehicle struck a guiderail on Interstate 87 on Dec. 2.
State Police assigned to the Latham Interstate Patrol located the disabled vehicle at about 12:30 p.m.
The driver was identified as Ellen A. Dinon, 30, of Gansevoort.
Dinon was uninjured in the crash.
She was arrested for driving while intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic law violations.
Dinon was transported to State Police Latham for processing where she recorded a 0.28% blood alcohol content.
She was issued tickets returnable to Colonie Town Court on Dec. 29 and released to a sober third party.
