Vehicle pursuit ends with arrest near reservoir in Holden

HOLDEN, MA — A motor vehicle pursuit that began in Worcester early Thursday ended with two people in custody after their vehicle became stuck near the Kendall Reservoir.

Paxton police received a call at approximately 12:30 a.m. from Worcester police advising of a pursuit that originated in the Tatnuck area of Worcester and entered Holden.

The vehicle was approaching Holden Road in Paxton when Paxton officers joined the pursuit.

Officers continued following the vehicle onto Grove Street and Pond Street.

The vehicle then traveled through the property at 13 Pond St., continued through the woods and became stuck near the Kendall Reservoir in Holden.

Paxton officers assisted Worcester police in apprehending the two vehicle occupants.

No charges are pending from Paxton police at this time.

Worcester police are investigating the incident.
