MANCHESTER, NH — A man was arrested minutes after a bank robbery on December 11.
Manchester Police responded to the TD Bank at 300 Franklin Street shortly before 9 a.m. for a reported bank robbery.
Officers learned that a man had walked into the bank and demanded cash from the teller.
He did not show a weapon.
The teller gave him an envelope with an undetermined amount of money, and he left on foot.
A description of the suspect was radioed out, and moments later, officers saw a man meeting the description walk out of Bunny’s Convenience Store at 947 Elm Street.
The man, identified as Michael Cote, 44, with no set address, was taken into custody without incident and found to have a large amount of cash in an envelope in his sweatshirt pocket.
He was charged with robbery.
