WASHINGTON BOROUGH, NJ — A 40-year-old man was arrested on a simple assault charge Thursday afternoon.
Washington Township Police Department patrol officers were dispatched to the first block of Park Avenue at approximately 2:27 p.m. for a reported physical dispute between family members.
Upon arrival and subsequent investigation, the man from Washington Borough was taken into custody and charged with simple assault.
He was released with a mandatory court date.
