NORTH HAVEN, CT — North Haven police arrested three New York residents on larceny charges following a shoplifting incident on Dec. 5.
Officers were dispatched to Universal Drive for a report of an active shoplifting incident involving three female suspects.
Upon arrival, officers learned the individuals had fled the area in a dark-colored SUV traveling northbound on Universal Drive.
Patrol units located the vehicle and conducted a motor vehicle stop, identifying the three occupants inside.
During the investigation, officers recovered stolen merchandise both inside the SUV and on several of the suspects.
Bridgette Solorzano, 43, of New York, Mariah Alvarado, 29, of New York, and Solange Vargas, 42, of New York, were arrested and charged with larceny.
