WOONSOCKET, RI — A 21-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday evening following a domestic disturbance on Route 146.
Maria Guayacha Oyola, of Woonsocket, was taken into custody at 7:40 p.m. and charged with domestic violence – simple assault.
State Police troopers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance on Route 146 and later located Oyola in Woonsocket.
She was processed at State Police Headquarters and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
Oyola was released and is scheduled to appear in Third Division District Court at a later date.
