PROVIDENCE, RI — A 19-year-old man was arrested on an active warrant Wednesday afternoon following a traffic stop.
Junior Alvarado Lopez, of Providence, was taken into custody at 4 p.m. on Academy Avenue.
State Police troopers arrested Lopez on an affidavit and arrest warrant issued by the Pawtucket Police Department.
The warrant charged Lopez with domestic strangulation and domestic disorderly conduct.
Lopez was processed at State Police headquarters and transported to the Pawtucket Police Department.
