WILLIAMSTOWN, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a local man on a domestic assault charge Wednesday night.
Todd Jones, 41, of Williamstown, was taken into custody following a domestic disturbance at a residence in Williamstown.
Troopers responded to the report at approximately 7:47 p.m. Dec. 10.
Upon arrival, troopers spoke with the victim and Jones.
An investigation revealed that Jones had committed domestic assault, police said.
Jones was transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court- Criminal Division on Dec. 11 at 12:30 p.m.
Jones was lodged at Northeast Correctional Center.
