FERRISBURGH, VT — Vermont State Police cited a man for violating his court-ordered conditions of release following a traffic stop Tuesday night.
Troopers conducted the traffic stop at approximately 11:55 p.m. on U.S. Route 7 near the intersection with Vermont Route 22a after observing a motor vehicle violation.
The operator was identified as Arlyn R. Sunderland, 30, of Shoreham.
Police determined Sunderland was in violation of his court-ordered conditions of release.
Sunderland was taken into custody and transported to the New Haven State Police Barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on Feb. 2, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
The Vergennes Police Department assisted troopers.
