ROCKLAND, ME — Rockland police arrested a woman on drug trafficking charges at the Rockland Ferry Terminal on Dec. 9.
Police responded to the terminal around 7 a.m. to assist Rockland Fire/EMS with a reported medical call.
After arriving, it was determined there was no medical assistance required.
Officers made contact with Dana Wentworth, 34, of Vinalhaven.
Wentworth was found to be on four active sets of bail conditions, including two separate prior felony drug charges.
After learning officers would be conducting a bail check, Wentworth attempted to grab a bag officers had recovered and continued to resist arrest, according to police.
Officers recovered drugs, including cocaine and fentanyl.
Wentworth was charged with refusing to submit to arrest or detention, felony trafficking of scheduled drugs, possession of scheduled drugs and violation of conditions of release.
