Two injured in crash in Sheldon

SHELDON, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that injured two people Monday afternoon.

Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks were dispatched at approximately 4:41 p.m. to the intersection of Vermont Route 105 and Poor Farm Road.

Police located a 2016 Toyota Sienna with damage to its driver’s side and a 2020 Ford Transit Connect with damage to its front end and driver’s side.

The operator of the Toyota Sienna was identified as Katie Boulanger, 35, of Sheldon.

The operator of the Ford Transit Connect was a 17-year-old juvenile from Franklin.

Boulanger was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to police.

The juvenile was wearing a seat belt.

Boulanger was transported to Northwest Medical Center by AmCare Ambulance for suspected minor injuries.

The juvenile was transported by a family member to Northwest Medical Center for suspected minor injuries.

The weather was clear and road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.

The Vermont State Police was assisted at the scene by TDI Towing, AmCare Ambulance and Sheldon Fire Department.
