MARSHFIELD, VT — A three-vehicle crash occurred on Cabot Road near the Marshfield/Cabot town line at approximately 12:11 p.m. Monday.
Douglas Gill, 60, of Northfield, was driving a 2017 Ford F-150 toward Marshfield from Cabot when he collided with a snowplow and then struck a third vehicle.
Harry Dailey, 59, of Woodbury, was operating a 2023 Western Star 4700 with a snowplow attached and was turning around at the town line.
Dailey had the snowplow extended into the roadway and was stopped, waiting for an oncoming vehicle to pass before turning into the road.
Gill’s vehicle collided with the end of the plow and then struck a 2014 Honda CRV operated by Carol Baker, 85, of Marshfield.
All three operators were wearing seat belts.
Gill and Dailey were transported to Central Vermont Medical Center for treatment of suspected injuries.
Baker was not injured.
Gill’s vehicle sustained major damage to the passenger side, including the front bumper, windshield and door.
Dailey’s vehicle sustained minor damage to the front end of the snowplow.
Baker’s vehicle sustained major damage to the driver’s side, including the front bumper, hood and door.
Gill’s and Baker’s vehicles were towed by Action Towing and Caledonia Wrecker Service, respectively.
Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash, and weather was clear.
