SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor police arrested a man early Saturday on a warrant stemming from a 2022 theft investigation at a FedEx facility.
Maurice D. Mitchell, 28, of East Hartford, was taken into custody at 1:31 a.m. on Dec. 6.
The charge stems from an investigation in February 2022 at the FedEx location at 40 Kennedy Road.
Mitchell was caught with five stolen iPhones valued at $4,295, according to police.
Windsor Locks police took Mitchell into custody and transferred him to South Windsor police.
He was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
Mitchell is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Dec. 24 at 9 a.m.
